My chicks are 9 weeks now can I ?

Can I start to feed them all flock now? They’ve been on medicated feed this whole time and there has been a shortage of medicated feed in the feed stores, can I feed them all flock now will it hurt?

My chicks are at 5 weeks. I'm starting to feed a grower/20% protein, mixed 50/50. At 7-8 weeks all grower pellet.
It should be ok to go to grower crumbles or pellet now.

You can keep them on a higher % feed until the first egg

I keep my Chicks on Medicated Start and Grow 18% for 10 weeks then "when bag is empty" switch to a Non-Medicated Starter-Grower 18% or a All-Flock Crumble 20%, whichever is available or cheaper when I'm at TSC.

If you are switching to a Pellet, mix 50/50 with the Crumble for a week or so.
If you give Scratch Grains or Cracked Corn as a treat mix some Pellets with it and Scatter on dry ground.
Myself I would keep them on Crumbles till 16 weeks.

So yes you can switch!
