I have a question. My chicks are about 3 or 4 weeks old and I don't know if one of my chicks are roosters. My chick has the color of black, white, and a little bit of yellow. A different chick that I have looks the same but has a feather by his/her behind and I don't know if that's a sign of being a rooster. Thanks for all your help!!!

---------- Oh and by the way, I have 21 chicks on my first batch!

There shouldn't be any obvious rooster feathers in the tail at 3 or 4 weeks old. I don't think that is an indication of gender at this stage of growth...
