My chicks are growing up so fast! Bittersweet!

I just wanted to show off my latest chicks. They are the only thing I have left of their dad. The roo that they belong to was killed about a week after my hen went broody. They are so colorful and changing every day. I have several generations in my flock. Their "grandmother" is a partridge silkie. The orange hen included is their mother.

Yes just 2. She originally had 3 eggs but something scared her off her nest and when she flew off she broke an egg. When my hens go broody I just give them 2 to 3 eggs in case for some reason she doesn't accept them or something I won't have so many to take care of.

That is so funny I didn't even notice she was one legged in the image! She has her legs she was just standing on one in the image. If you look very very closely you can see some toes under her fluff.
