Awwww, what cuties
Oh my...they are so sweet! I like the last picture where one of them is sitting right on top of the feeder! Too cute! Thanks for sharing.
they're a little over a week old, and they're almost all mixes, btw.
sorry about the picture quality. couldn't figure out how to make the pics smaller.
Marwa! You did great! I'm so proud of you. I see you got a little blue one, an Ameraucana cross, so if that's a girl, she should lay green eggs for you. I'm jealous! I want a blue barred Easter Egger! Excellent work!
If you would like more eggs in the future, more with purebred Barred Rocks rather than the crosses, etc., just let me know. Might be able to put a Blue Orpington or two in there.
thanks for the offer, but I think my parents are in a state of shock that we actually have chickens in our living room. I need to give them some time to adapt to this frightening turn of events.
LOL, LOL, well, we didn't think they'd hatch so well! Guess you did your research, huh? Once you know which are the boys and sell some of those (or all, if that's what you want), then it will seem much more manageable.
here they are now, and these pics are not using my phone, so it should be a little better.
Marwa, I'm fascinated by the bluish one in the last picture. That one should be beautiful! And if a girl, should lay greenish eggs, too.
I'm actually pretty sure that the light colored one is a bo/br mix. it was more yellowish as a chick. I could be wrong though.
