So I finally got two chicks yesterday, and the other four from my aunt (which are nearing two-weeks) today.
My favorites are my first two...the tiny younger ones.
^ Here is Superchick, the Black Sex Link. She's pretty calm, sweet, and the very smallest of the bunch.
^ Here is my unnamed Production Red...the second smallest, and also pretty friendly and calm.
^ I'm not 100% sure, but I think this is an Easter Egger. She's my next favorite (and was my aunt's favorite, too, and I can understand why, as she's probably the calmest of the four bigger ones). Anyways, if she is an EE, then I will name her Hope.
And she might have a splayed leg. Could that be treated for an almost-two-week old?
Here's the Black Jersey Giant I named Jersey. I think she has the potential to be a very docile pet. I'm hoping with all the handling I've started and plan on keep doing, that she'll calm down more.
Here's the unnamed Buff Orpington. She likes to look head-on at you once you grab her and lift her up. =} =D
And here's the crazy, wild lil' drama queen...A Silver Laced Wyandotte named Lacey. She was calmest for my mom.
Oh, and, she's the prettiest looks-wise (and I hope her personality gets prettier, too, lol).
And I'm happy to say that my mom loves their cheery chirping, and she finds them adorable.
Now I will tag some good friends of mine: @ViolinPlayer123, @micstrachan, @Abriana, @The Angry Hen, @Cluckcluck1215, @MissNutmeg, @DiamondSwan, @Hybridchucks, @TwoCrows, @RodNTN, @RacehorsesRock, @MysticChickens04, @FrankieDoodle, @Fanci Feathers Marans, @chicken4prez, @Chicken-lovebirdchihuahua, @blackdust951, @tastyacres, @Allie Grace Sanders, @alexa009, and last but not least, @sfaith102 (I know you're not allowed on very often anymore, but I wanted to share this thread with you, too, so you can still see it).
