Just wanted to share a few pics of my chicks that I got over the weekend. 2 RIR's 1 Barred Rock 2 Ameraucana's and 1 Brahma. [IMG][IMG]They're a tight bunch of peeps.

[IMG]I've been calling her Big Momma (or "I"m sure she's a he") because she is so protective of the others. When I open the top of the brooder they all run behind her and she runs out and pecks at my hand.

[IMG][IMG]They're all really inquisitive and are getting feathers FAST.

They're all so pretty and when they get going they sound like songbirds :).

That's a bunch of big, stout chicks! Careful of the pellet bedding- they may eat it when they get older.

I was worried about that. They're already kicking up quite a dust storm with it... I definitely do not recommend the pellets.
