My Cochin Girls - Color?? Is Lavender really possible??

Here is Belle & Mazey. They are 11 weeks old today. Are they both blues?? They are the coolest birds, so friendly and calm. They also are HUGE!!! Especially Belle, she is as big as my 15 month old hens.

Belle is either a light blue or a very even Splash, Maze is a blue and I find her thick lacing interesting.

I would guess #1 is lavender or splash and #2 is dark blue

Is the thick lacing good or bad?

I doubt the first one is a Lavender, since lavenders should not have any off coloured feathers and a lavenders feather shafts would all be white and not black or blue.

She probably is a nice even splash(I wish I could get such a nice splash with my Amers, it is beautiful).
As to the Lacing, I know in Germany any sort of lacing is a big no-no in Cochins(thats what my German standard is at least telling me, I don't know how it is in North america though(since I lack the Standard of Perfection for over here).
