Well two mornings ago hubs and I went out to feed and let out the flock and we heard this odd noise and suddenly looked at eachother and said "What was that?"
We heard our flock of duck hens QUACKING their heads off like normal but under it we heard a distinct Crow!
Turned out it's my BIG CC Roo who is currently like 4 months old and must weigh about 12 pounds.
I find it hilarious how Roo's are technically illegal in my town, BUT my ducks are about 5 times louder than the Rooster crowing!
And yes, I know he's a meat bird! We have 8 of them left all 4 months old, no leg problems or anything, 4 Roos and 4 Hens.
