We purchased some Jumbo Corturnix Quails not long ago. For the past weeks my daughter has been going out to check on them every morning. She has been helping me out a lot and patiently waiting for that first egg. Today she went out to check and YES!!! we have our first egg. She was holding it while jumping up and down screaming. She says now I can check for eggs with better hopes of one or more being there.

Before we went into the house with the egg, she says * Momma you know how when we see butterflies, we think of maw maw Retta in heaven* I said yes. She said look at the egg Momma,, A BUTTERFLY. You couldn't take that smile off her face for nothing.
