Sofia reading to Rickie
I thought this was cute, they are getting use to us now.
OMG! That is so precious. Your daughter is a real good egg...the chicken's not so bad either
That's very sweet!!
They both look... "comfortable".
lol they do look relaxed, thanks for looking at the pictures.
I should have gotten my cell phone out earlier all 4 chicks were up there on the sofa listening to her read her books.
It was like they were really into the story ha
both of them i mean
i love that chick pose, with the one leg kicked out. your daughter is the chicken whisperer for sure. thanx for sharing
And what story was she reading? Maybe "Chicken Little"!?!
Or "The Little Red Hen" ?!?
That's a really good idea to get them used to you. My DH sat in the pasture and read to his cows when he first got them so they would be gentle. It worked, by the way. We now call him the 'cow whisperer'...
She was reading Dr Seuss books to them lol
I think they get use to the sound of your voice before visuals kick in , like with human babies in a way only chickens can see really good but they are very vocal birds
they chatter all day to each other so it would make sense they would connect to sounds.
