my daughters barred rock pullet hen is looking like a he.

    Yep that's no doubt a cockerel you can see his saddle feathers coming out.

    I agree, cockerel. He also looks more like a black sexlink cockerel or a mixed breed of some sort, not pure Barred Rock.

    Agree. Not a Barred Rock and it is indeed a cockerel.

    Its head a neck area are very white in comparison to the other barredrocks. I was feeding them some night crawlers this afternoon and noticed a slight teal tint to the tail feathers. The comb came out early. and has been tipping me off until today. I dont have a rooster so I may leave him around for a while if he gets to pissy with us around he will be dinner.
