I just got my day old Silkie Chickens today!! I put them in a bucket in my bathroom with self feeder/water and a heat lamp!

I have 3 silkies on their way! Can't wait to watch them grow I have a feeling they will be 'house chickens' in the winter.

From the pics, I am guessing you have partridge, blue, black, splash, (Splash included in blue), buff, and white. Am I correct? They are sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!

I want only standard layer hens, but I have the feeling that I will wind up with some silkies...
