My Dove Egg Looks Cracked And I Dont Think It Is Ready!!!!!

My dove has been nesting on two eggs, one looks as low it started poking out or it cracked but the inside does not look ready. What should I do to save it if it is not ready.

depending on the type of dove it might be ready in 18 days... however for doves because of how they are born I let nature do its thing- I lose eggs/just hatched this way but all of them that feather out live.

ringnecks can hatch in 14 days + or -, the best thing you can really do is just leave it be and let the parents handle it.

I discovered the male was poking through the egg. Strange behavior he has never done it before.
