My duck has had a baby chicken!

  1. I have a broody duck that has been broody for a while now and has been sitting on four duck eggs and two chicken eggs and one of the chicken eggs hatched!

    Congratulations @collingwood ! It will be fun to see if the little one decides it's a chicken or a duck, lol.
     
  3. I'm so excited! And the duck's sitting on heaps of eggs! I hope they hatch! The chick is a wyeandotte cross Lohman brown!

    When are the duck eggs due to hatch? Don't they take longer than chicken eggs?The chicks will need to eat and drink within 2-3 days.
