i can hear my pekin duckling chirping some. its day 28 and i was wondering how long it will take his to hatch fully? this started at about 2:00 pm and its now 7:25, so about 8 hours and 25 mins. i think. there is a small hairline crack at the bottom of the egg where the air sack is and i can see a little movement. how long do u think it will be till he fully hatches?

From what I have read here (no hatching experience myself), it can take quite a number of hours for the little duckling to get all the way out, so hang in there.

    How exciting!!!!

I hope some experienced hatchers will join in soon.

A long time. 24-48 hours I think for the entire process.
