My ducklings are coming..........my ducklings are coming

So I ordered some Cayuga ducklings awhile back and found out they are close. So I packed the boys up and drove to the farm.........what a beautiful place. The man I spoke with was very smart and knew tons about his birds and his breeds. Was tons of help and was so kind to the kids (3&5 year old boys) I took with me.

So the ducklings are due to hatch this weekend early next week. And I'm so excited. And since the man gave the boys each an egg to put in an incubator I'm also getting 2 chicks and switching them out for the eggs.....the boys will non the wiser..........

Hats off to Outbackhill Poultry. Great guy, clean location, and some of the nicest birds I've ever seen.

Its nice to see that some people still go that extra little bit further to put a smile on some kids faces- He must not only be a breeder- but one that is truely passionate about his birds seeing them as a lot more than just $$$.

Hope the hatch all goes well and to see some pics up here soon of your new ducklings when you pick them up. ( oh- and of course the chickens too. )

well that was nice of him, i have 1 Cayuga duck she is 9 weeks old she is so pretty i love her she is one of my faves i hope you like them.
