my ducks are mean to my chicks

i have 2 ducks and 13 chicks their all about 7 or 8 weeks old.2 of the chicks are younger and much smaller than the rest and my ducks and my older chicks peck at the 2 younger chicks alot. i had to grab the two chicks and move them away from the rest because im afraid he ducks might hurt them. i had one chick two weeks ago that died because the ducks sat on it and it suffocated. what can i do to get the two ducks to be nicer to the chicks? is it a natural thing for ducks to be agressive to chicks?

Sometimes even the sweetest (to people) ducklings can be mean to smaller critters. They need to be separated.
