    i had two runner ducklings and one of them drownd in about 2 centimeter water and didn't go in the heater and the other died of a brooken neck[​IMG]then i did some research and learned a thing or two

    Sorry to hear about your Runner ducklings[​IMG] I'm thinking of getting some this year. What'd you learn from research?

    an important thing is to chek on them every 30 min or 1 hour and if something seems wrong take him/her to the vet and put rocks in the water if not want them to drown[​IMG]

    I've actually heard of that but I've also seen birds die because they get their beaks or bills caught in the rocks and they drown still. What we do to prevent drowning is to put it in a shallow dish and refill it every hour or so.
