I have 8 birds, 4 EE hens, 3 faverolles hens, 1 faverolles rooster. They are 5 months old now and very healthy, though not laying or copulating yet. The Roster Nobokov is awesome, much larger than the girls. He has never crowed, so it is a rather quiet yard. Is this normal for a 5 month old rooster?

No its not normal but are there any other roosters around? He might just be a late bloomer and will end up crowing eventually or you got lucky and you have a super quite rooster.

No other roosters around we are pretty isolated. We do indeed like the quiet here, so it's probably a good thing he hasn't learned lol !

He's probably taking his time. My LF Fav roo was the last to crow.

You should breed mute roosters, lol, I know there would be a big demand.
