the pointed one is the cockerel (male)and the rounded one is the pullet(female) polish

There are several dedicated silkie threads, generally separated by color (buff, nothing but partridge, paint silkies etc.) Plus there is a variety of silkie called Showgirls - refers to both sexes. You might want to check them out on the "showgirls " thread.
