I have a Blue Sweedish duck that just turned 14 weeks today... I would have thought he would have gotten his drake feather before now, since my Khaki Cambell got his when he was about 10 weeks. Can anyone out there tell me if I have anymore surprises in store???

2 black cayugas - I think they are both female... but now don't know
1 khaki cambell - I know he is a drake

1 black sweedish - has a crest on the head... but no drake feather.

1 blue sweedish - just got drake feather

I have been so busy with my chickens that I have not asked any questions about my ducks... and my turkey questions are coming soon

Any info would be helpful

Females are very easy to tell at that age. They are LOUD. Males have more of a whispery quack. My two 8 week old girls are incredibly loud and there is no question of their gender. And crested ducks can be either male or female I have a female crested duck myself.
