So I have a female pekin and a male blue runner, they have been mating constantly as of late and I'm just curious as to why she hasn't laid any eggs yet. She's almost a year old now and I've seen other forums where people have said there's laid at around 7 months. Any information would be helpful! :)

Are you certain she is not laying? Are your birds free ranged or penned? Are they in an area where they have access to a pond or body of water other than a kiddie type pool that is emptied regularly?

They are penned in a relatively large area so it's possible that she could have laid and I just haven't found the eggs, but I've done a pretty intensive search and haven't found any. There aren't really any plants or any thing she could lay in other than her coop.

Are you 100 percent sure she's a female?

Ohhhhh yes. Her quack is echoing through the neighborhood as we speak lol. And I've seen the two of them mate successfully more than once.
