my first gosling hatched today! the other two eggs are both pipped and should be here soon
Wow....so cute and nice pictures!!!!!
Congratulations on a wonderfully successful hatch!
What breed is the gosling?
the mother is a sebbie X giant embden, and the male is a sebbie, although hes not a very good quality one he is more wavy than curly
If the genetics and coloring for the sebbies and embdens hold true for a cross - your very yellow little gosling is a baby gander. Congrats.
How cute, that is lovely,
Miss Prissy, you are the expert here is it really true they will imprint on the first person they see after they are hatched because there is a very knowing look in that one pic. lol.
I know who that little guy will pic for his mommy and daddy.
Lovely picture, thank you.
I am not an expert. No way.
Yes, they will imprint on you if you handle them and work with them daily.
Sorry Miss Prissy,
I always think of you have the most experience with birds of all sorts.
It certainly looks like he has big eyes for the person he is looking at.
but a very cute baby.
Thank you for the answer.
Love that picture.
