My first broody momma!

    I set some of my silkie eggs under my broody Australorp, not knowing what to expect... she did her job though! Here's the proud mommy.

    I have one more full sibling due today, one tommorrow, and then Sassy Silkies eggs due the day after that! Wahoo! I can't wait to see Jen's eggs hatch [​IMG]

    Thanks guys! She was very sweet about not ripping my hand off when I picked her up [​IMG]

    I had another chick in my incubator when I got home yesterday. Another grey/blue!

    I think the brown one will be patridge, but I don't know. I am new to this whole silkie thing...

    Does anyone know, if my rooster is silver birchen, and the hen was black, would those blue/grey chicks be blue or grey?
