My first DOUBLE YOLK!! I'm so proud!

So my girl has been laying for almost 2 weeks. The other day she left me one that was giant compared to the others. I was making my kids fried eggs yesterday and opened one in the pan and I found it! I have only seen 1 other double yolk with my past flock since I was a little kid! My daughter (7) was helping me and she was like mom it's 2 eggs in 1!!

Yaaay! That's so cool! My girls are to young to lay. I haven't had that first egg excitement yet. Lol.

Double yokes are fun to see. Does anyone know a successful hatch with one?

Yesterday we got a second egg during the day. Which means another one of our girls are laying! Yippee!! Weird tho. All my girls are the same breed (originally told RIR but they're too light so I'm thinking sexlink or Isa) but the second egg yesterday was considerably lighter than our other lady's eggs.. oh well still pretty EGGCITED..
