my first double yolk

One of my BA crosses laid a huge egg with double yolk. She has been laying for a week now My 10 year old scrambled them up before I could take a picture! I read this is common in young pullets, and is a defect, but we sure thought it was cool!!

Double yolkers are so fun. I once had a RIR pullet that laid huge double yolkers for awhile. She eventually got tired of putting 2 yolks to an egg, and laid normal, single-yolked eggs
