I bought duck eggs to incubate on Vancouver island. One hatched and I call him or her duckie, I've taken a few pics of Duckies growth. Starting out black with a little white and blue bill. Then changing to a khaki black and brown and now turning grey with green coming thru on head!

The duck folks should be able to help you. When you find out what he/she is - I hope you will update your post, so we all find out.
