My first EE egg

    I went out to check on the chickens today and I found this in the nest box.

    I only have 2 EE's so I have no idea which one laid it. They have NEVER laid before and they hatched last April. I placed it by a white egg so you could see the light green tinting. Did I mention this is the FIRST egg I've gotten since October?

    Sorry to hear of your lack of production. . . It is going around a lot with chicken owners lately. I'm proud though to not have that issue.

    I have loved my eggs from my three hens of EE descent that I ordered 4 more this spring!! Hope the green and blue ones keep 'rolling" in!! [​IMG]

    Well with these 2, even if they had never laid an egg in their life, I would have kept them. They are my childrens pets.
