My first eggs!!! Question-

Hey everyone, I got my very first eggs this morning. I am taking today and tomorrow off from work to finally build my henhouse and run, and the timing I guess is good.

When I came outside this morning, I found my leghorn sitting on eggs. 3 whites, and 3 brown eggs. (the browns came from my Rhode Island Red).

Since some of these eggs have probably been outside for a few days, are they still good to eat?

What have the temps been like in Mesa recently?

It's been in the mid 80s.

I just found 3 more eggs in my dog's house.

Got to get the pen built!!!

Update: I decided to go ahead and eat them. Scrambled five of them yesterday morning. So far, I'm still alive and no ill effects.

They tasted and smelled fine, and so I gave them the green light for consumption.
