So, I did my very first hatch. :) 13 eggs into the incubator, and all 13 came out without a hiccup! I'm so proud of my laying hens and their strong eggs. All came from a Barred Rock roo with a mixture of different breeds for moms. Here's my outcome.

Buff Op Hen/Barred Rock Roo mixes (Chicka and Fervent):

The ones with featheed feet have to have a parent with feathered feet to pass it on.....so they cant be orp/rock mixes.

My OP might not be a pure breed then, but they were definitely from her eggs :)

Looking at her older photos, she had a few feathers on her feet, too.

Thanks all! The feathers are already starting to grow in and some pretty barring is happening. Interested in seeing how some of these mixed breeds look when they're older. :) My daughter's Mangle has an owl on her head :p
