My flock killed the babies !!

Just hatch 3 little beauties from Onthespot eggs, my mille fleurs girl was taking a very good care of therm... i made a "coop in the coop" for them where they could be safe from the big girls but couls also go out and explore. Everything went well for 3 days but this morning I found 2 little guys dead on the floor of the coop and my mother with a little one wounded in a corner

I took them out right away and put them in the kids play house for safety... Socialisation is not going to be easy after all !!!

They were adorable ... RIP

Oh dear, I am so sorry

. I hope the little one left does alright. I have read a few times its better to not allow mom back with the flock for a few weeks even if they have shelter to go back too. I don't have chickens yet and your story will be remembered by me (and everyone who reads your post) as a hard lesson learned and we can do it differently. Again, my sincerest sympathies--but truly grateful you shared this.
