Good Morning, I am new to chickens and so excited. These are my four, a Delaware, RIR, EE ( I think) and a Cuckoo Maran.

Hello from Oregon, Welcome to BYC & the crazy world of chickens :) It always starts with 4 - then chicken math takes over :)

A big howdy from Texas! [IMG] Just as BrendaJ said. The Chicken Math WILL take over [IMG] I started out with 2 and then next then you know, I'm up to seven and still wanting more. You'll absolutely love watching them throughout the day during your free time [IMG]They are so awesome. You have very beautiful chicks. [IMG]

    [IMG] Glad you joined us!

Nice flock! However, your Delaware and Cuckoo Marans are looking like cockerels, not pullets.

Welcome to BYC! [IMG]We're glad to have you.

I'm sorry to say that your Delaware "lady" is looking like a cockerel. The Cuckoo Marans may be one too.

Thank you everyone! My Deleware and Cuckoo Maran were indeed Gents, dangit.

Going thru some of the chicken math and getting babies to replace and egg layers started. I have learned so much from you all, thanks!

Four to replace two sounds about right. [IMG] Hope you enjoy them.
