My GIRL duck has GREEN feathers!!!

    Okay, I have a duckling that is making a girl noise, but has green feathers towards her tail. I think she is a Ancona, if that helps. She is around 6 weeks old.

    This was my Mallard Pekin girl at sixish weeks, can you see the tint?

    Ok. I wouldn't worry about them on the wings, just something all black ducks get.

    Again here is my Mallard Pekin hen and you can see clearly she has green feathers just about everywhere.

    Good. I was afraid she was a boy. Not that I would mind, but we really wanted females for eggs lol

    Lol. They are addictive, I started with ten. Now I'm at 35 and there are 21 eggs due next week. :oops: I might have a slight problem......:oops:
