My Girls and Two Cockerals had their first Watermelon this Morning.

They approach enmasse

Then ignore the offering

Curiosity gets the better of them

They all come for a taste

They peck politely at the pink meat

But really want to talk to me

And peck me for attention

A sneak attack

Look at me!

Then they settle down for the morning preening

I guess I'm better than watermelon!

Hey, all my hens love watermelon! everytime i go out to the coop wi/a bucket of rinds, they come running out from everywhere. nice story BTW
