My girls are making chicken / duck mash - then mash cookies

    They've been outside for hours working on this. Ingredients include: Layer pellets, scratch, water, innerds from leftover pumpkins, etc. Started out as mash for the ducks, but has now evolved into a mash cookie assembly line:

    The air is still a bit brisk, but they are in the sun on a beautiful day, so that (and all the work) is keeping them warm.

    You should see them now! We have very clay mud here, so when it gets wet it basically turns into thick black paint... which they are liberally painting all over each other.
