my 2-year-old hens love the following treats:

• yogurt with some oats or corn mixed in
• berries of any kind
• cracked corn
• kale and other greens
• MEALWORMS
• apples
• pumpkins
• WORMS

Mine certainly go nuts for yogurt as well. They enjoy a hanging cabbage once in awhile to peck at too.

I was cutting brussels sprouts in half for dinner, and I always end up with a pile of leaves when I do this (and lop off the stem end too). So I figured I would see if the 3 week old chicks would be interested since my quail LOVE cabbage...like more than anything else. I scattered some around the brooder. Once they discovered this was food, they had them eaten in no time flat!
