Well its been above 40 and sunny today so I let most of the birds out to play:) We had a serious predator attack a few months ago So they have been stuck in their coops and large runs-but today we were all busy around the coops..So I released the gates!!!!! Hope you enjoy

we believe it was dogs-Summer renters. In 5 years we've never had an issue-ever..They are always locked up tight as a drum at night too. They freeranged from 8 am until dark every night-until that day. I was playing softball in town and Dh had to leave downt he road for 45 minutes-when he returned half my flocks were killed and all over 6 acres-feathers everywhere. We had all neighbors and family out searching for bodies and survivors-it was during day light hours. We never did find a survivor:( and our oldest most favorite girls were killed-NOT EATEN-just killed--no heads missing nothing-all bodies intact except bite marks-and a few hens came up completely missing..It was one of our worst chicken owning days ever. Dh went out the next day and bought 100's of feet of fencing for huge outdoor runs-no more free ranging unless we stand guard the whole time!

A very masculine breed, too.

Sorry, they are just so very fluffy – which brings to my mind feminine. And Polish have always made me think of Phyllis Diller – who I think of as a girly girl.

They are stunningly beautiful, I understand why he likes them.
