I got my first chics two weeks ago, and I had one arrive nearly dead. She was the very smallest, a golden sebright and I was happy she pulled through. I thought we were out of the woods, but then I noticed her wing. As the others got two nice sets of wing feathers, I saw only one of her wings is feathering out. In fact, the other wing is getting bald! Someone suggetsed the others picked her feathers out, so I watched day and night and never saw this or found any feathers. Also, her other wing is lovely! I put blue kote on it to discourage picking in case the others thought about it. Now it is starting to get an occasional feather, and it looks rather gruesome. She doesn't seem to know anything is wrong, she even trys to fly like the others... That results in her doing a midair spin and landing on her little face. When do I take her to a vet? These are my pets, not for food, so I am willing to try anything!
Thanks!!!
And how do I post pictures, so I can show you her poor little wing.
Edit: I just read guide lines
She is pooping, eating, drinking, acting normally (sleeps a little more than the others though). In plasticbin brooder with wood chip litter.

I would take her to the vet and get it checked out. splinting should be done a soon as possible.

How do youtake such a little chick to te vet? She is 2 1/2 weeks old, wouldn't the stress/cold temp do moe harm than good?
