And i'm gonna cook his goose if he does'nt knock it off!

He keeps attacking me..hissing, wings spread, head down and pinches me!
And goose pinches hurt! [IMG] He used to be my buddy! What happend?? [IMG]

At first i was grabbing his neck, giving him a bit of a shake and pushing him off of me... and scolding him.
But i felt bad about that... Because i dont want him to associate me with fear..or whatever..
So now...i'm killing him with kindness.. [IMG]
When he charges me..i grab his neck and fit it over my shoulder and i wrap him in a big hug and talk baby talk to him...and man, he hates it! [IMG]
When i let him go he cant get away from me fast enough! [IMG]

    Heres the brute...

I got my goose as a young teen, and he was a snuggle bug for the first 3 weeks, then he got terribly aggressive, and has bitten all 3 of my kids multiple times. Luckily, he only got the baby's diaper, but he bit/bruised the other kids. Then he couldn't free range at all... this year, he's been free-ranging, and since i moved his house far, far away from my house, he spends less time trying to eat the kids while they hide up on the swingset, and more time swimming in the pond, which i think is good for everyone. My guess is that your goose is turning into a goose... often aggressive, jerks... I only have one goose, and it's the only goose i ever had, but he is a right A$$, and I have seriously considered re-homing or giving him to my carnivorous friends... but i luuuuv my goose, and would miss him terribly.. though he bit me again today, and now I have another bruise... this time on my leg, not my chest, which I think is an improvement, though this one hurts more.... good luck!!!

Hes so strange! One minute hes eating out of my hand.(making his baby goose noises)...the next minute hes being all stealth/rambo like and trying to sneak up behind me to kill me! And that neck! its fast as a rattler! He always gets in a few good pinches before i can grab it!... *sigh* I'm glad my girl goose is still a sweet heart! I cant imagine having 2 of them coming at me! *i may need self-defense classes here*

I tried fighting with love, but just ended up getting bitten more and more... so now I usually either just yell and make him go down to the pond, or if I can't deal with him right away, like when I was trying to fix the fence, and he just kept BITING and BITING, i stuck a big tupperware storage box over him, and it sort of scooted around a little, a foot here, a foot there, like a turtle with no head or legs...and after 4 or 5 minutes, I was done with the fence, and let him out... he didn't try to bite me for at least a few hours...
