My grandson got his first deer on Sunday. That was one happy boy!

My son got this deer on Saturday.

those are really really nice. good to see that they used a lot of selection in their choices before taking... know what i mean!

(still waiting for my hubby and son to take... they, too, are very selective, so the wait is a LONG one.)

you post from OK, were these taken in OK as well? just wondering! I am supposing that deer there are larger than MS ones?!! Guess it all really depends on area.

Thank ya'll for the kind words. In this part of the state, it is mostly rolling hills of woods and pasture. Cattle and horses are raised here. Hardly any cropland. Deer tend to be smaller than other parts of the state. They both lucked out and bagged larger than average for around here.
