I found this 3x8 "dog house" on CL today for $ 100 and drove about 50 miles to get it. Just needs a little dressing up, remodeling and maybe a window. I am getting my first ducklings this wk. 2 Pekins and 2 Cayugas. This will be there duck house. I'm so excited ! Do you think I did good?

These type buildings usually go for around 500 - 1000 around here. So I jumped on it! [IMG] I'm going to paint the inside, maybe put vinyl on the floor. Add a nest or 2. Add a window or two.Paint the outside. Put in some vents. Surround it with dog kennel fencing with a net on top. And landscape around a little pond or use a baby pool. That's my plans for it so far.
