    So today i was collecting eggs and look what i found!!! She must be decorating for easter!

    I'm not sure. does your chicken have speckles? Mine has speckles and she lays speckled eggs. [​IMG] see my post. [chicken look like their eggs]

    it's just the way some eggs turn out [​IMG] i get some pretty strange looking ones. maybe she was just feeling creative [​IMG]

    ive had chickens all my life and occasionally we'll get an odd egg. it's nothing you should worry about, even in the wild birds lay odd eggs... i guess it comes with egg-laying [​IMG]

    Hi,

    That is really neat! I'm sure it's nothing to worry about, I've seen some really strange eggs coming from my chickens.

    Speaking of Easter, I've been saving up my EE's green eggs to boil with my other eggs to have some "natural" Easter eggs! My EE's are really mutts, so they are a very light pastel color. But I hope to do better next year, as I just purchased 4 EE chicks and maybe I'll have some nicer colored eggs.

    I got a few like that from my EE's lately. Really cool with the blue/green and the white spots!!!
