Does she have feather loss? Has she been laying regularly? Feel her tummy and her crop, do they feel normal or distended and tight? What are you feeding her? Just need a little more info to go on

If she has not been laying I would be suspicious that she is egg bound. If you can keep her in the house in a warm, dark place that would be best. You need to let her soak in a warm bath and then lubricate her vent. Make sure she keeps eating and drinking. Offer her treats like plain yogurt or scrambled eggs. Look up threads on here for eggbound and see if I missed anything. Keep us posted and good luck.

well i got home today only to find her dead. when i got her out of the " recovery pen" she had yellowish brown liquid running out of her mouth.

she has just started actin sick yesterday, but i though she may have been sleepy, or wore out from the rooster.

i have also lost 8 babies in the past week, one minute they would be perky and the next time i would go in to see them and check on them i would find a dead one.

well i gave all my chickens duramycin mixed in with their water to try to prevent any sickness. my cousin told me that would help.

i am having the worst week ever!!! i am so upset and disappointed.

I don;t think antibiotics is neccessary
it sounds like a case of coccidiosis or maybe some kind of E.coli
generally you have to be very observant in the morning feeding
to see if all the chicks come to eat or at treat time

the coccidiosis will cause humped up shivring ruffled festhers and listless nature
they are only drinking water and die in 3-4 days
    from it
generally they have some blood in the watery stools

I would give them some amproylium such as corid
do the wet mash recipe with corid in the water usedof dry crumblesa

    medicated wet mash
    1 qt of dry crumbles
    2 qts of water
in 1/2 of water put 1 tsp of the amproylium powder or liquid corid if you can get it
now mix with water and add all water to the dry crumbles
feed chicks 2 tsp of medicated wet mash what they clean up in 20-30 minutes
clean wet feeders replace dry crumbles
do this two mornings also medicated amproylium water for 5 days

    and their drinking water
do this for 5 days and see what they are doing then
quit the duramycin at this time

the hen could have had a E.coli or yeast infection also
    as she sounds like that
I would discontinue the corn as it may have had some mold associated with it
the hens and the chicks need
    natural probiotic wet mash

I don't know how many chicks your feeding

    suggests
natural probiotic for one adult bird
    3 tbsp of dry crumblesa
6 tbsp of any mind of milk
    1 tbsp of yoguart
mix well and feed twice a day till bird is better

    for more birds

    1 qt of dry crumblesa
2 qts of of any mind of milk
    1/4 cup of yoguart

mix and feed chicks 2-3 tsp of wet mash
what they eat in 20-30 minutes

for adults feed 3 tbsp per bird
what they eat in 20-30 minutes

hopefully this will help your birds
the natural probiotics is very necessary

have you cleaned the waterers out with clorox yet?
if not do so and put 2 tbsp of apple cider vinegar if not medicating any of the birds
they need this for good gut flora

do this for several weeks then go to 3-5 times a week

Oh I am so sorry for your loss. It's devastating how fast they go downhill.
