Do you think it was how I picked her up? She struggled & I am not sure exactly how I had her when she started regurgitating feed. Could it be how I was holding her? If she hadn't given me an egg yesterday... [IMG]

If you put pressure on her crop when you picked her up, it could have been the cause... I'm sure she didn't do it on purpose! [IMG] Love her, and next time put your hand under the breastbone & belly, not the chest! [IMG]

I think my hand may have slipped to her crop when she struggled. I will have to take her a special treat to apologize:) I know she didn't mean to... it was sooo gross though:)

Quote:She sure could;) Don't some birds regurgitate worms for baby birds?

Quote:LOL, nope:) taking a picture was the last thing on my mind. I put her in the coop & came running inside where I could take out my contacts (I'd have finished the chicken chores if it hadn't gotten in my eye). DH took one look at me & the puke all over my face/hair and volunteered to finish up:)

Yep, husbands can be great sometimes;)

I think I will take her a treat of cottage cheese this morning. She loves that:)

Quote:Just some data that you can store in your mind with total worthless information. Birds can regurgitate and vultures use projectile vomit as a defense mechanism. Occasionally they also eat so much they can take off until they have lightened their load.
