Hi Daisy, Sorry to hear about your hen. A few questions for you.

    How old is she?
    Is she drinking water?
What does her poop look like?
Have you checked her for mites?
What about the other chickens in the coop- Any signs with any others?
Also, what about her comb color? Bright red, or pale?

Hello there and welcome to BYC! [IMG]

I am so sorry about your hen. Have you checked her for egg binding? Read through this article on egg binding and follow the instructions...https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/egg-binding-symptoms-treatment-and-prevention

What are the other symptoms....bloated crop, diarrhea, respiratory ailments, mites, worms, ect...

You can also post in our emergency section for more help...https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/10/emergencies-diseases-injuries-and-cures

I hope you can get her back to good health soon. [IMG]

Could she be a internal layer? If she is, you'll want to stop her from laying by keeping her in in a dark cage for a few hours to cut her daylight and hopefully stop her from laying. Hope this helps! Please keep us posted! [IMG]

Yes . - I am sorry she is doing so poorly- maybe there would have been a chance to save her a week ago. Can you get her to eat some human food like finely mashed boiled egg yolk, plain yogurt, maybe even a little shredded cheese.
