I have four hens. Well recently two of them hatched out some babies. One hatched out two, and the other hatched out 7. Well, the other two hens have stepped up in parenting too. It is so funny. The one that hatched out the 7, only has 2 underneath her, and that is because I put them there. Otherwise, they were chasing the other mama hen around with the other babies. I was missing a chick from yesterday until just now. Well, the fourth hen, all of a sudden has decided she's going to parent one too apparently. She has just one chick under her. Soo funny! I now have two hens taking care of 6 chicks, one hen sitting on 2 chicks, and another hen sitting on just 1 chick. And they are all from the same hatch (the chicks that have switched hens).
