    Hi Everyone!

I am new to raising my own chickens. I fed them crumbles for about five months and switched to pellets about two weeks ago. The past two or three days I haven't had to fill up the feeder. Can anyone tell me why they are not earing?

    Thanks!

When changing your chickens onto anew feed you should always do it gradually. Your chickens may not like the pellets yet so a small amount of crumble should be fed with the pellets. This is called weaning them onto the pellets.

I changed mine to pellets and found that I was not having the fill the feeder as often. I believe that they don't spill as much as they used to.
