    I would like to share with you some pictures of when we got the chicks last month and from today.

    Then:

    Now:

    Then: Living in a kennel in the house because they were too small to be in the coop
    Now: Living outside in their coop and run.

    They're still pretty small compared to what they will be, but they're almost fully feathered and just so beautiful and soft. Every day I spend time outside with them holding them in my lap on the porch and petting them. I love my chickies!!! Best birthday present, evar.

    What little cuties you have. My one little bantam looks just like your little grey chick.

    The best thing about Silkies is they keep their fuzz and never lose that cute fuzzy look!

    @Compton: So cute! The gray one is so much smaller than the others, looks like it doesn't bother him though!

    @yyz: My chickies are silkies.

    @theoldchick: Yes! I love it. I'm so happy we held out for silkies rather than any old chicken, they were worth the wait.

    Quote:Lol, you're welcome! The egglaying will just be a secondary perk for me, the main thing is they're fluffy and they will sit on my lap and let me pet them, unlike my cat [IMG]
