Plans as of tonight are to keep the bottom drawer for chicks to fluff and a clear front for viewing.

Hauled the dresser out to the shop, grabbed a couple cold ones. My son and I talked for a few about how we were going to do it.

We took all the drawers and cross members out. I did some measuring and found out is wasnt going to be deep enough for my trays. He marked I cut, when mad a border to go around the door. That extra inch should give me the room I need for the trays.

of course there is always one or two that are being nosy.

Insulation installed and caulk is drying. I used 1/2 insulation. You can see the 1x2" wood i added around the door here. Im still not for sure how im going to do the turners but If i can get the most of it done I can start doing temp and humidity checks.

Came home yesterday to find the egg crates on my porch. Time to build the tables the crates will sit on.
