I had the lid off of my container where I store the feed and it rained & a lot of the feed got wet & mushy, but some of it is still dry. It has a sour odor, should I not feed any of it to my chickens?

If it got wet once and dried quick you can still use it but if it was wet for a while then dump it.

Most people are going to say dump it and that's probably the best thing to do.

I've had plenty of feed get wet while I was transporting it home but as long as I let it dry out immediately it was fine.

Since it has a sour odor... I would say dump it... better safe than sorry.

I wouldn't take a chance either....better to eat the cost of the feed , than have sick chicks.

That's what I was thinking, I'll dump it! Thanks for the replies.
